National Library, Luxembourg - Bruynzeel Library Shelving
Since 1973 the library has been located in the renovated l'ancien Athénée, near the Cathedral Luxembourg. The new library show a rapid development: new services have been progessively implemented, the collection increases and the number of readers continues to grow.
The solution
The far end of the room shows, through the windows, fixed shelving units with no backs. Wooden bars have been added behind the solid parts and the shelves are equipped with rear edges. The installation has been implemented on two storeys. The colour of the whole solution is anthracite, Ral 7016.
