Kunstforeningen moved to new premises and needed efficient and specially adjusted museum storage for their valuable collection. The assigned area was on a basement level, and had to hold everything from storehouse to preparation of both paintings and sculptures. The need for storehouse and preparation area had to be met in spite of columns and low ceiling height.
The solution
To meet the requirements for this part of the museum repository, Bruynzeel Compactus® ArteStore mobile painting frames was installed for the storage of paintings. The paintings are stored on both sides of each frame. This solution from Bruynzeel makes optimum use of the available space. The mobile painting frames only use a single aisle to gain access, in stead of static racks requiring aisles between all rows in order to gain access.
